This is EXACTLY the same thing as the original Lego version that apparently isn’t being made any more. Don’t waste your money on a $300 version from a scalper. These are made by Iris (same company) but don’t have any Lego logos on them.

The top cover doesn’t have the building plate but has three recessed compartments like a cafeteria tray. Two of the drawers are open top with dividers inside. Otherwise, it is identical. You can even snap the top cover off and snap another set of them together to make a 12 drawer tower. This works with both the Bricks version and the original Lego version. They are interchangeable.

My grandson has many legos and this storage unit will more than handle all of them. He especially liked the drawers you can take along with you. He put his favorite toys in one of them and carries all around the house. Well built and I like the idea you can add another unit to this one. I would recommend this to anyone who has a ton of legos and needs to put them all in one place..

Extremely useful item. Reigned in our lego chaos in a way that makes sense to a kindergartener… thus said kindergartener can clean up and organize. Also allows for works in progress to live on the workstation or be stored somewhat intact in one of the drawers/cases. So well designed, and it looks pretty good too. We love it!
