Lego Storage Drawers Are An Ideal Way To Keep Specialized Lego Sets and Instructions Together.

There is a large choice of different types of Lego storage drawers available online to help find the perfect way to store and organize your children's Lego sets.

Below I have provided my view on what type of Lego storage with drawers that I have used for my own kids Lego storage in my home.   At the bottom of the page I have also provided links to individual product pages highlighting a great selection of other great Lego storage drawer ideas you can use to help organize the Lego in your home.

Personally, as far as I am concerned, when it comes to buying effective Lego drawers for the kids Legos, the main thing that it has to be relatively mobile, preferably on wheels, similar to the one shown to the left.

A set of plastic Lego storage drawers on wheels, enables all those intricate specialty parts from individual Lego sets to be stored separately from all the generic Lego bricks sizes.   As we well know most Lego sets are made up of generic sized pieces that can be found in every set of Legos. but it is those intricate little specilaty pieces that are invariably the pieces that end up getting lost.   

What I do is sort out each indivudual set through a BOX4BLOX, then separate the special parts and put them in one of the drawers, with the Lego instructions and label the drawer with the relevant Lego set name.   By doing this, it not helps keeps their Lego sets intact, but it makes it so much easier for the kids to find the pieces they are looking for when they building their more intricate Lego models.

As parents, I think we are all aware of the frustration the kids experience by not being able to find the particular piece they are looking for, or even worse losing that vital piece out of an expensive Lego Mindstorms or Starwars set.

It is for this reason that I am a great fan of storing these specialty Lego pieces in a set of mobile Lego storage drawers on wheels, as the unit can be stored out of the way in a closet and rolled out when they want to ready to build a Lego model with the generic Lego bricks, that are common across all the sets that are kept in the BOX4BLOX.

In fact a set of Lego storage drawers also goes along with my "Think Vertical" theory of effective toy storage, or for that matter any type of storage in my home. The attraction of using storage drawers for the kids Lego enables everything is be stored from bottom to top, or vertically, making much better efficient use of floor space.
