This lego toy box is probably the most worthwhile purchase I have ever made for my grandchildren in almost 6 years!! I bought it close to 4 years ago and made it the focal point of the play area I set up just for them.

Being bright and inviting, they use it almost every time they visit. They have spent countless hours building. We use the shelves and three separate containers provided to separate the different size legos. The individual storage spaces help them easily find the blocks they need to build their latest creation. The bottom larger area is perfect for lots of other fun toys.

I get so many compliments on this toy box! I put it against a wall for better support. It has been very durable for us; however, if you have a lot of kids who don’t treat it with care, I am sure that it can be broken because of the shapes of the lego men arms on the outside of the shelf. This feature is what makes it so adorable though.

Savontb82 TOP 100 REVIEWER…Wonderful Product!….

This is an excellent storage solution for large amounts of Legos. It’s well constructed. I bought a 1600 piece Creative Tower set, which fills it about halfway. I would guess this could easily hold 3000 bricks. I admit that opening it is a little awkward at first with the way the grip is designed on the lid and the ridges on the side of the box. However, my 5 and 6 year old sons are not having any trouble getting it open.

The circular grooves on the inside of the box are so narrow, they would only trap the tiniest pieces, which you would probably want to store separately from the larger bricks anyway. Even 1×1 bricks are too big to get caught in there (see picture). I will definitely buy more of these as the Lego collection grows.

We just received this for the boy’s duplo collection and I’m pretty pleased. Since I had some questions that the reviews/description didn’t cover, I thought I’d pass on info so others could benefit.

1. The pix look like the brick might have sorting trays bc the inner wall has ridges. It does not sort- it’s just one big empty space in there like the lego head.

2. Sizewise, it’s nice. I bought the educational duplo set (something like 150 pieces) and then a 100 piece set and they all allllmost fir- not quite. So the 8-brick can hold around 200 average duplo bricks. I’m buying another for the overflow. I wasn’t sure how many duplos the brick would store and I couldn’t find that info in the reviews.

3. Ppl have complained about it being hard to open and it might be for little-handed ppl to do so with one hand, but I didn’t have a problem taking the top off one-handed. I suspect my son will have to use two hands to grab one of the nubs to open. Shouldn’t be a problem.

4. It’s real cute. You do lose some space due to its stackability. The other drawback is the lack of sorting, however it’s solid. It won’t fall open accidentally causing you to have to deal with a lego explosion.

5. It’s pricey. But it’s lego- it’s going to be pricey. We build towers with baby blocks and megablocks now- the Lincoln logs are a little too much work for my 3-yo. I’m hoping duplos will fit this in-between building stage he’s in right now.

This is huge and perfect for storing legos! My only complaint is that the inside could be better designed for small pieces not to fall in the cracks. The lid is hard enough to take off that the baby (20 months) can’t get it off and get into the small pieces (the kids only use legos when she’s sleeping) but it’s easy enough for the 6-9 year olds to open.
