I’ve had other products that were play mats/toy bins but those were off the velcro variety. I was very impressed with how sturdy the zippers and overall build of this is! My boys (3 and 5) love it. Rather than digging through the box they will unzip the sides and let the legos spread out to find what they want. For cleanup they just push all the legos back on to the mat in a pile and zip it up. The lid has taken a lot of abuse (standing on it, sitting on it) and is showing some wear.

Its a little squashed looking but still looks good and fits properly on the bin. The lid can be velcroed closed. The look of it is great – boys love it. The size is perfect for our needs. We have about 12 Lego sets (medium to large box sets) plus quite a few extra legos and there is still room for more. I like that whenever I find a stray lego I can just pop it in the box through the handle cutout rather than removing the lid (and the various other things that are stored on top of this box when the toys are all put away). Very happy with this purchase.

This is a great product that has gone a long way toward taming the Lego mess!!!! You can build your Lego “city” around the roads on the mat and then when you are finished, zip up your mat, pop the Lego creations into the box, cover and put away. It could not be any easier. The toy situation is an ongoing battle in our house, and I have been looking for the perfect organizer for those little toys that seem to get scattered. Between legos, building blocks, toy food, barbie clothes, etc., things were too hard to find in the toy box. This organizer is just what we needed! It comes with twelve brightly colored plastic bins, some large, some small.

It went together in ten minutes, and the kids had a blast figuring out what should go in what bin. They loved that it came with stickers, but ended up using those for something else as we apparently do not have enough “planes and trains” or “boats” for their own bin. Still, the stickers were a cute touch.

As a parent, I love that this has wooden “feet” to make it more stable. My daughter pulled up on it and it did not shift a bit. It seems quite sturdy, and I can see this lasting us for several years. The bins lay evenly on the poles, and even full they are still easy to slide in and out for play time.

My only issue was that when our organizer arrived, two of the bins had little chips missing from the plastic. The plastic around the edges seemed a bit brittle, and I think these just got knocked around in shipping. We put those corners in the back and put tape over them so they can’t scratch the kids. A minor issue, but it would have been nice to have this arrive intact.

Overall, we are so happy with this organizer, and would definitely recommend it!

When we got it, the box was heavier than I thought it was going to be. I pulled out the pieces and was impressed by the quality of all the pieces. It was very obvious how to put it together – did not even need the instructions. It took me less than 20 minutes to get it together by myself. All that is required is a screwdriver.

After it was all put together, I was very happy with the heaviness of the whole thing and how sturdy it was. It was also easy to move around since it has handles near the top.

I took over an hour to go through my son’s “toy box” (an ottoman that had become quite nasty) and throw things away, find things to donate, and find all the little pieces to all the toys he has.

I organized everything in to the bins, which are great sizes! They are even deeper than I thought they would be, which is helpful, since they are tilted at an angle (although, they don’t have to be if you don’t want to, but you won’t be able to see what is inside each one).

Now all of his toys are together and pieces of each toy (e.g. Mr Potato Heads) are where he can easily find them. Guess what he has been doing since? Playing with toys he hasn’t played with since he received them, because he doesn’t have to go digging for all the pieces!

I already had a Red Iris Basket for my son’s Lego Duplo bricks from Toys R Us. It was perfect. The lid fit securely enough to keep the hundreds of blocks from being scattered about by my 2-year-old.

It was so wonderful, that I ordered this yellow one. The item arrived in a damaged box, the lid was broken, dirty, and the base was scratched. I contacted Amazon and spoke with a very nice representative, who granted me a refund. I was upset that the item was no longer in stock for a replacement.

I ordered the Blue Iris Basket from Amazon a couple of weeks later, and it arrived in perfect condition. I think the yellow one that I received just got damaged by the delivery service.

I can fit over 150 Mega Bloks in one, and in the other, I have over 200 Duplo size bricks, and that one is only filled half way. These baskets are very durable. My son wheels his about, climbs on them, and sits on them. After nearly four months of daily use, still in great condition.

I picked one of these up when we were on vacation last summer. Didn’t plan on it but, since my kids have so much Lego, I needed more storage space. I saw them in a Walmart and picked them up on the spot.

The box is LARGE compared to most others out there. My 6 and 8 yr old kids like to sit on it and push themselves around which they can do easily.

That brings me to the next great thing about these bins. They are TOUGH! My kids are hard on toys….VERY hard. These have stood up to everything they can throw at them. Standing on them, sitting on them and bouncing up and down, pushing them around while they ride them like horses over anything that gets in their way, etc. Not a single chip, dent or broken piece!

The wheels and handles make it a breeze for little ones to pull around so they can pick up the pieces from all over the floor (and I mean ALL over) and the top can only fit one in one direction so it makes it easy for the kids to replace it the right way.

They are also STACKABLE. My kids were given a load of Lego from a friend after his 3 kids out grew them. It was enough to fill a medium size cooler. These baskets held most of that with no problem.

The only con I can think of (and it’s not a problem for my kids) is that, if you have so much that it is filled to the top, it makes it hard to get pieces on the bottom without dumping some of it out.

Overall a GREAT purchase for the money, easy to stack if you need multiples so it takes up less room and VERY durable.

I received this as a birthday present, and I am thrilled with it! I have a small, but impressive LEGO collection (at least for an adult), but I have always had a hard time finding my ‘special’ pieces. With this box I was able to sort out and separate my mini-figures and all their accessories in the top, and in the bottom put my doors, windows and other special pieces. I’m planning on buying another one of these pretty soon so that I have a place to store my wheels, steering wheels, windows, etc.

This thing is well built, the plastic isn’t too thin, so you don’t worry about flex when you’re pulling the drawer in and out. The top has a built in handle that is very comfortable for me to hold. In the top tray there are several compartments, and a pull out tray. There is room under the pull out tray to store pieces, I’ve got my accessories (hair brushes, extra hair and hats, hammers, etc) in the tray that pulls out, and in the space below I’ve got my ‘transportation’ items (skateboards, motorcycles, horses, etc). In the other two upper compartments I’ve got my mini-figs (about 25 of them, with room for 7 or 8 more).

The bottom drawer has a nifty little latch that keeps it from sliding around when you’re carrying the case. These are deeper compartments, and here is where I’ve decided to put my windows and doors and other pieces that I use often.

This set of storage boxes for LEGO is absolutely stunning. The 3 boxes nest inside each other for easy storage. The top bin has 9 small trays for smaller pieces.

My Girls love it because they can store their Friends lego sets. The large blue bin holds the completed buildings and the other bins the parts and “work in progress” The quality is much better than other storage sets I have seen on the market and the design on the outside of the boxes are adorable.

This is a very nice storage option, the largest bin will hold several completed friends sets such as the shops. The divided tray sits in any three of the bins and is a great way to sort pieces for storage or projects in progress. The manuals fit perfectly in the med bin. The cost is a bit high but this is a must for the lego friends builder/ collector.
